| Details | This study observes the dynamic development of the "juridiction consulaire" under the Old Regime, by examining the rivalry and the conflicts between this commercial court and other jurisdictions. Two methodological steps are taken: the analysis of the normative background of the conflicts, and comprehensive representation of their reality in the practice of justice. As a whole, this study questions the role of the jurisdiction in forming the State's order, by analyzing the complex interaction between the norms and the judicial practice. |
