概要 In circumstances where the product life cycle is short, it is desirable that an operator can perform every necessary assembly operation efficiently from the beginning each time a new product is introduced into the shop floor, without spending a long time to learn skills for it from experiences. In order to consider the uncertainties in the process of an assembly operation, this study introduces the contact state concept, which is not always specified to only one contact state but may contain several contact states with probabilities. It also classifies task elements the operator can take during the operation, and captures the assembly operation as a transformation process from an initial contact state concept to that having only the goal state by taking a series of task elements. A measure of the “ambiguity” of a contact state concept and that of its “distance” from the goal are introduced and used to determine what task elements to take. Then a simple example is given to show how this approach works.
