概要 | This paper discusses the creation of a train simulator aimed at analyzing human factors, alongside the use of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to measure train drivers' brain activities. It highlights the monotony of train operation compared to car driving and the increased emphasis on reducing human errors. The development of driving support systems, taking human characteristics into account, is deemed essential. Identifying the link between train operation and the driver's brain activity is crucial in this context. The developed train simulator, intended to assess human factors, used fNIRS to monitor cerebral blood flow during train operation. The study verified differences in brain activities between manual and automatic driving, indicating that fNIRS is capable of detecting brain activations related to train operation. |
